Monstor Truck applique Shirt # 2

Finally finished Noah shirt and sent it off to him. I just hope it fits.Soon as his mother sends a picture of him wearing it I will do another update. He just learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. Great job Noah!!

Monster Truck T shirt Arrived Update

Aaron was very Happy to receive his Monster truck T shirt.  His mother said He Loves it! and it looks like it fits well.

Well ,I decided on the stripe border. I just didn't think the floral looked quite right in person. I think the monitors make it look different.  I will save the floral for another project. I didn't have alot of room to lay the quilt top so you thats why you only see part of it.  Thank you Marjorie from http://b-quilts.com/blog/for your help in this project. It was fun!. Now its time to send it off..

The Patriotic Star Flag QuiltTop

Hope all you mothers had a Happy Mothers Day! I did, I had visits and calls from my kids.  It was good day!.  I also was able to  get all but the borders on my star flag quilt top done. I took a few pictures to show you.  When I got the  pictures on my computer I realize I took the best  picture upside down, So I will show you the two versions. You can pick the  one you want to look at. I bought some fabrics from Joann.com and some from Forget-me-knot quilt shop in Bandon,Oregon. The quilt layout was from Marjorie from http://b-quilts.com/blog/. I had a lot of fun making it, especially the star flag block .

Monster truck applique Tshirt

I  finally got back to finishing the monster truck t shirt I started a couples of weeks ago. So before I send it to its destination I thought I would update my progress with a picture of the finished product. I will show you Noah's another time.   Also, as you can see I made a new header for my blog using scrapbook factory software and edited it in Picasa software. You might see me change it from time to time.
