The Claudia Skirt Pattern

I have been trying to finish a couple things I started before Christmas. Here is one of the projects. I had made a red skirt  for my granddaughter and this blue and black skirt for her friend. A fun Valentine quilting project in progress

a Surprise gift

I saw this Fabric and thought it would be just the fabric for a birthday gift for my sister. She loves polka dots and stripes in Red and white. It does have a valentine theme, but her house theme is red and white. I believe its the flower sugar prints from Lecien. I got it from  http://www.etsy.com.  The Idea came from the Feb /March issue of the Quilter Magazine page 76-78. http://www.thequiltermag.com/issues/current.shtml. I'll post the finish product later. Just thought I would you give you a glimpse of my new project. After all it suppose to be a birthday surprise!
