The Patriotic Star Flag QuiltTop

Hope all you mothers had a Happy Mothers Day! I did, I had visits and calls from my kids.  It was good day!.  I also was able to  get all but the borders on my star flag quilt top done. I took a few pictures to show you.  When I got the  pictures on my computer I realize I took the best  picture upside down, So I will show you the two versions. You can pick the  one you want to look at. I bought some fabrics from Joann.com and some from Forget-me-knot quilt shop in Bandon,Oregon. The quilt layout was from Marjorie from http://b-quilts.com/blog/. I had a lot of fun making it, especially the star flag block .
